Obituary for Mr. Robert Lewis Ferrell
Robert Lewis “Bobby” Ferrell, 30 years old, of West Palm Beach, FL, died from sudden cardiac arrest on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. A lifelong resident of Palm Beach, he attended the Palm Beach Day School and Rosarian Academy, and graduated from Coastal High School in Lake Park, FL. Bobby also attended Palm Beach Atlantic University, and enjoyed Culinary School because of his natural ability and love of cooking.
In his time of need, Bobby found that Jesus was always there with him and for him. He reached out with a heart of faith and love to help many in need. A member of Memorial Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach, Bobby often traveled with various Church Ministries to Haiti and Peru; and even helped establish an orphanage in Haiti. Many, many friends admired him because he reached out to them and helped them.
He is survived by his mother, Page Ferrell of West Palm Beach, FL; father, William “Tuck” Ferrell, Jr. of Sebastian, FL; and two brothers, William “Bill” Ferrell, III (Alison) of Bradenton, FL, and Graham S. Anderson of West Palm Beach, FL. Additional survivors include his paternal grandmother, Jane Barksdale Ferrell of Vero Beach, FL; maternal grandfather, Harold R. Holmyard, Jr. (Sandra) of Greenwich, CT; an uncle, Harold R. Holmyard, III of Dallas, TX; two aunts, Lexy Tanner of Old Greenwich, CT, and Derry Tanner of Sudbury, MA; and his nephew, Liam Ferrell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1300 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL, 33401 with Dr. William R. Stepp and Rev. Randy Bare, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church, immediately following the Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Robert L.
