Edward van Alstyne Wilson
90 years old, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010. He was born on July 17, 1919 in Hudson, NY, where he operated the family orchard. He moved to West Palm Beach in 1958 and was employed by several engineering firms until he retired in 1981. He was predeceased by his son, Marshall A. Wilson in 1989.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Smith Wilson; his son, Harold Wilson, IV; his daughter, Lynn W. Silvers; step-son, Howard Wight; step-daughter, Kathleen W. Hall; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 9, at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, with the Rev. Jen Harner Sims of the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches, officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM on Tuesday until the service time.
